Twice, Matt has represented Canada at the Cannes International Advertising Festival competing against 35 nations in their 24-hour ad challenge.
His work has been internationally awarded at Cannes Lions, the Clios, Communication Arts, and nationally at the Marketing Awards, the CASSIES, ADCC, Applied Arts, the Bessies, Lotus Awards and the Crystal Awards, plus his work has been featured in the Globe and Mail and New York Times.

For almost 20 years, he has planned and executed effective and award-winning branding, design, advertising, creative content and digital products for local, regional and national clients, working with some of the most recognizable agencies in Canada, including Rethink, MacLaren McCann, DARE and Grey Worldwide.
His work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, The One Show, ADCC, the Marketing Awards, the Lotus Awards, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Luerzers Archive, PDN Magazine, and featured in the news by CBC & CTV TV, as well by print and online outlets.
Despite being fluent in three languages, Tony’s ideas and art direction cross all cultural barriers.
After studying at the School of Visual Arts in New York, Tony began his 15-year career in advertising at Y&R Vancouver. From there he worked at several creatively influential agencies including Rethink, TAXI, BBDO and as a Team Lead in lululemon's groundbreaking creative department.
Tony's work has been recognized by The One Show, The Ad and Design Club of Canada, The Marketing Awards, Applied Arts, Art Directors Club, Communication Arts, Crystals, Bessies, Lotus, Anvil Awards and Grafika.
